Highwood is constructing the Surrey care home with leading care partner, Cinnamon Care, whose Care Collection was recently named as one of the Top 20 Care Home Groups in the UK by carehome.co.uk, which saw two other Highwood projects recognised as ‘most recommended’, scoring exemplary marks by their residents.
Guy Hayward, Managing Director of Highwood Group, joined the Rivermede team to celebrate the traditional topping out event that saw the building reach its highest point, some 60 weeks after construction at the Surrey care home began. Soon after, another milestone was reached when the first brick on the Rivermede superstructure was laid – confirmation indeed that the project is proceeding on schedule to meet its autumn launch as Guy Hayward reflected.
‘We’re delighted with the way progress at Rivermede is being made,’ he revealed. ‘We’re justifiably proud of our construction heritage within the care home sector and to see our partnership with Cinnamon Care result in what looks set to be another award-winning care project is particularly rewarding.’
