Highwood’s COVID-19 measures draw praise from househunters
Highwood’s safety measures implemented in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic have had a reassuringly positive effect for visitors to our development marketing suites and show homes as well as our on-site teams.
Throughout the lockdown, we’ve made a considerable effort to safeguard our visitors, customers and team and to remain compliant with Government guidance. Our teams and contractors have continued to work responsibly since our construction sites reopened, all the time observing social distancing and hygiene instructions.
At our residential developments, we made the move to conduct all viewings and meetings by prior appointment until further notice, with one-to-one meetings and pre-arranged, unaccompanied show home viewings booked in advance too. We also installed dedicated hand sanitiser stations in key areas, social distancing signage and floor markings and sanitising surfaces after every visit. We’re overwhelmed by the praise and positive feedback we’ve received from those who have made arrangements to visit us since we reopened our marketing suites and show homes at North Stoneham Park; the increasing numbers of reservations we’ve seen for our new homes in recent weeks is testament to that.
‘Prospective purchasers have responded very favourably to our new arrangements,’ reveals Melanie Richards, Associate Sales and Marketing Director at Highwood. ‘We’re finding they’re enjoying the extra time and personal attention they receive when they’re on site by prior appointment and they’re getting more of a feel for life in a Highwood home during their visit. When they arrive, we run through our safety procedures so they feel confident that we’ve put their welfare first – there are no busy spaces to endure or time restraints that could add to any pressure they might have about a house move.
