As part of the wider North Stoneham Park project, Highwood is developing a stunning retirement village scheme, the North Stoneham Retirement Community, a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), in the South Stoneham Park area at Park Farm. The scheme will include a landmark mansion-style 40-bed care home, 42 luxurious care suites and 91 close care apartments and will help to meet the demand for high-quality care provision long into the future.
The project will be delivered for Highwood’s leading care partner, Cinnamon Retirement Living having receiving overwhelming backing by both Eastleigh Borough Council and Test Valley Borough Council who share jurisdiction over the land.
Set within the grounds of North Stoneham Park’s vast site, this historic landscape has a history that can be traced back to the Saxon era. More recently, it was used by the landowning Fleming family’s workers who lived in the grounds and grew their produce for the original North Stoneham House in the walled garden. These areas will be enhanced as part of a substantial programme of environmental improvements to be implemented during the construction period.
