A joint promotion of a large strategic site with major developer, Bloor Homes

Highwood identified an opportunity to develop a substantial parcel of land in Fair Oak, a large village on the outskirts of Eastleigh in Hampshire. We partnered leading housebuilder, Bloor Homes who had already acquired the neighbouring site.

The project commenced when we designed a scheme for approximately 326 new homes that would represent a worthy strategic promotion to Eastleigh Borough Council’s Local Plan.

Thanks to Highwood’s excellent relationship with the local authority having already demonstrated our success in similar projects, we achieved planning consents before the plan was formally adopted.

One of Highwood’s most successful strategic land promotions

Our promotion was to include 326 one to five-bedroom new homes, including an affordable housing allocation. We also provided a new scouts facility for the local community in the centre of the site.

The final units on the Crowd Hill Green site are currently being sold and the development has become recognised as one of Highwood’s most successful strategic land promotions.
