We’re thrilled to announce that Treloar College has been chosen as Highwood’s Charity of the Year for 2026 – a partnership that celebrates inclusion, independence and opportunity for young people with physical disabilities.
Based in Holybourne, Hampshire, Treloar College provides outstanding education, therapy and care for young people aged 16–25 with physical disabilities and complex clinical needs. Their mission is simple but powerful: to help every student live as independently and confidently as possible.
From specialist teaching and around-the-clock care to creative therapies and independence training, Treloar College empowers students to focus on what they can do, not what they can’t. It’s a place full of talent, determination and warmth – and one we’re understandably proud to support.
Why Treloar College?
Treloar’s vision of ‘a world where physically disabled young people take control of their lives and achieve their aspirations’ resonates deeply with us. Their holistic approach, which combines education, therapy and clinical support, creates an environment where students thrive.
Rated “Outstanding” across the board by Ofsted and the Care Quality Commission, Treloar’s continues to set the standard for specialist education in the UK. Projects like the Gloucester House Appeal are helping create more accessible, homely spaces that give students greater independence and comfort in their daily lives.
“We’re delighted to be supporting Treloar College as our Charity of the Year for 2026,” said Natalie Brown, Finance Director at Highwood. “Its work changes lives – not only through education, therapy and care, but by giving young people the confidence and skills to live life on their own terms. It’s a cause that really resonates with our team, and we’re excited to get involved, raise funds and build lasting connections with the students and staff who make Treloar’s such a special place.”

Throughout 2026, our team will be raising funds, joining events and finding creative ways to support Treloar College’s incredible work. Whether through active challenges, volunteering or awareness campaigns, we’re committed to making a positive difference for the students and staff who inspire everyone they meet.
We can’t wait to get started and hope our community will join us along the way. Keep an eye on our website and social media for updates on fundraising activities and events throughout the year.
Together, we can help Treloar’s continue to open doors for young people – and build a future where everyone has the chance to achieve their goals.
