Highwood celebrates South Coast Property Awards success

Highwood is celebrating other year of success at the South Coast Property Awards 2026 after winning Sustainable Development of the Year and being shortlisted in two further categories. 

The Highwood team was recognised in the Sustainable Development of the Year category for its work delivering Ampfield Meadows Retirement Village on behalf of Inspired Villages. Highwood narrowly missed out on South Coast Property Business of the Year and was also shortlisted for Residential Developer of the Year. 

Commissioned and operated by Inspired Villages Group and delivered by Highwood, Ampfield Meadows Retirement Village reflects a shared commitment to creating a sustainable, high-quality community that promotes wellbeing, independence and later living. The award-winning development, set near Chandlers Ford in Hampshire, combines thoughtfully designed homes with a range of facilities and services that support an active and connected lifestyle for residents. 

In selecting Ampfield Meadows as Sustainable Development of the Year, the judges highlighted the development’s “delivery of a true net zero operation at scale, combining exceptional design, measurable performance, and meaningful long-term environmental and social impact”.
