Welcome to this virtual consultation on our draft development proposals for land at Browndown Camp in Gosport. Our proposals comprise the provision of 147 new homes, including a 60-bed care home, 39 age-restricted retirement living apartments and 48, two, three and four-bedroom houses with gardens. Employment and live-work space and garages also form part of these proposals.
Our proposals aim to revitalise this sustainably located yet underutilised site by introducing new homes and providing public access to its stunning sea views. The scheme prioritises accommodation for families, older people and those requiring care, addressing a critical need in the local area. Our vision is to create a harmonious community where residents feel a genuine sense of home, belonging and wellbeing.
We would like to invite you to view our draft proposals and give feedback on this proposal ahead of a planning application to Gosport Borough Council.
The public exhibition will take place in The Privett Suite, Thorngate Halls, Bury Road, Gosport PO12 3PX on Thursday 5th December from 2.30pm to 7.00pm.
