The Fast Track 100 league table ranks Britain’s 100 private companies with the fastest-growing sales over their latest three years and, in 2018, Highwood has achieved an enviable ranking of 74, featuring alongside some of the UK’s most respected and dynamic brands.
The announcement tops off a sensational awards season for us, having won two high profile awards at the recent 2018 South Coast Property Awards. We were crowned Fast Rising Property Business of the Year and won in the Development of the Year (Residential – Large) category for its landmark North Stoneham Park project in Eastleigh, near Southampton.
Just one month earlier, two of our premier care projects were included in the most recommended UK Care Homes awards list by carehome.co.uk with our Netley Court and Gracewell of Adderbury projects both featuring in the Top 20 Care Homes South East England 2018. The judges scored the project exemplary marks that equalled Highwood Group’s hugely successful Pine Martin Grange care home in Wareham, Dorset, which won the award for Best New Elderly Care Home at the Pinders Healthcare Design Awards 2018.
The same month, we were named in the London Stock Exchange Group’s (LSEG) ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Britain 2018’ report; an annual report that identifies the UK’s fastest growing SMEs and high growth businesses, which was certainly a jewel in our crown. That accolade came on the back of our phenomenal ranking of 15 in The Business Magazine’s Solent SME 100 list – an acclaimed annual list that reflects the standings of the top 100 private companies in the region based on sales growth. Both results have gone a long way to asserting Highwood’s presence in this fast-paced and very competitive sector.
‘The last 12 months have certainly been our most successful to date,’ revealed Guy Hayward, Managing Director of Highwood. ‘To be featured on the Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 list is nothing short of an incredible achievement and the entire team at Highwood deserves high praise for its hard work and dedication.’
‘Together, we’ve proved adept at identifying development opportunities that will benefit the wider community. We’re building beautiful homes in fabulous settings, creating jobs for the region and making a valuable contribution to our economy. In the process, we’ve grown our turnover by almost 55% over the past three years to £37.7 million, which has helped secure recognition by the Sunday Times Fast Track panel and confidence in our potential to achieve even more success in 2019.’
To celebrate our achievement in the Fast Track 100 2018 rankings, the team has now been invited to attend the Fast Track 100 conference and awards dinner to be held at the Branson’s family home in May 2019.
