Highwood’s status as leading housebuilder confirmed by new judging panel

Highwood has been announced as a finalist in the 2019 South Coast Property Awards once again; this time as a contender for the coveted title of Housebuilder of the Year, which represents a powerful endorsement of our status as a leading residential property developer.

Finalists within this hotly-contested category, which is sponsored by Moore Blatch, must have demonstrated an awareness of environmental issues and a need for community engagement. Their housing developments should be delivering real economic benefit to the locale and be places where people of all ages aspire to live – indeed, positive feedback from customers is integral to high-scoring awards entries.

The last eighteen months have seen a stunning collection of awards bestowed by judges from across business and property sector honours events and 2019 is fast-becoming one of the most successful years in terms of recognition for both our corporate and construction achievements.

Already in 2019, Highwood has been ranked 34th in the Sunday Times, BDO Profit Track 100 league table, which rates Britain’s 100 private companies with the fastest growing profits over their last year. We took centre stage at the international BREEAM Awards 2019 when we were Highly Commended for our landmark North Stoneham Park community project and we were a finalist in the Growth Story of the Year category in the Business Magazine’s Solent 250 Awards.

In just two months’ time, at a special gala awards night at the Hilton at the Ageas Bowl on July 18th, we’ll discover if we’ll be awarded the top prize in this year’s Housebuilder of the Year category – it will be a remarkable achievement and a defining moment in Highwood’s housebuilding heritage.
