Leading south coast property developer, Highwood Group, has experienced a remarkable year that has seen growth rise by more than 50 per cent and its workforce increase dramatically to meet the growing demand for high quality development.
In recognition of its business achievements, Highwood has achieved a phenomenal ranking of 15 in The Business Magazine’s Solent SME 100 list. Supported by Regis, the acclaimed annual list reflects the standings of the top 100 private companies in the region based on sales growth.
The list features a number of high profile organisations with housebuilders and construction organisations taking prominent positions at the top of the list. This is despite the uncertainty surrounding Brexit and is evidence of the housing demand and investment made across the Solent and further afield.
We remain committed to a philosophy to acquire land selectively and build sensitively
Highwood Director, Nigel Meek, welcomed the recognition the organisation’s performance has earned.
‘We’re delighted to feature so highly in the latest SME 100 list,’ he commented. ‘Judging by the high profile company we’re in at the top of this list, it’s an incredible achievement and the entire Highwood team is justifiably proud.
‘We’ve worked tirelessly to secure some excellent development opportunities and have been fortunate to gain planning approvals on a raft of strategic land projects that will see our construction activity across the south coast increase this year. We remain committed to a philosophy to acquire land selectively, build sensitively and sustainably and set benchmarked standards of design and construction. This ethos continues to reward us year on year.’
