A traditional build with a bespoke, modern design to BREEAM’s ‘excellent’ standard
Highwood was awarded the design and build contract for this four-storey building having directly negotiated with our client and following successful projects that we had completed at Adderbury and Woking and which clearly demonstrated our ability to deliver high-end care home projects.
The structure is of a traditional build with a bespoke, modern design in accordance with BREEAM’s standard of Excellent. Careful planning and a sensitive approach to the construction scope of works for this flagship scheme was necessary due to the site’s extensive tree protection requirements and parking restrictions.
Our work on the Burleigh Road care home project was completed within an 18-month timeframe.
