The high profile care home formed part of Highwood’s final phase of development at Bramshott Place, a site that sits in a quiet corner of outstanding natural beauty in the historic village of Liphook. Today, it comprises a collection of elegant cottages and apartments that are centred around a private clubhouse with a restaurant, communal lounge and landscaped gardens complete with a beautiful pool.

Mayflower Chief Executive, Helen Maiello, welcomed new residents and their families and friends along with members of the local community and healthcare professionals who all enjoyed champagne and canapés as a flautist played and a local town crier announced proceedings during the event.

Professor Martin Green, OBE, Chief Executive of Care England, declared the home officially open and paid tribute to the success of the partnership’s mission to create a fabulous care home within a truly idyllic setting. Mayflower was formed in 2014 and has regularly partnered with Highwood to develop premium care homes with the best care and facilities in the south of England. Highwood designed the site to BREEAM’s ‘Excellent’ standard and incorporated its signature standards of exacting construction and internal specifications throughout.
