Snowdrop Place Care Home

A caring and supportive working environment for all

‘The site continues to flourish in terms of scheme compliance’, Jem recorded his observations. ‘It is noticeably clear the Project Manager is extremely focused on meeting the requirements of the code of considerate practice…The contractor’s considerable efforts with regards to ensuring work on site can proceed safely during the coronavirus pandemic are particularly worthy of note.

‘It is clear the contractor remains focused on providing a caring and supportive working environment for all. I am confident this site will continue to develop positively and that there will be further advances on site in the coming weeks as regards meeting CCS requirements. Very well done to the Project Manager, his team and all those associated with this project.’

The Considerate Constructors Scheme award, which rewards developers who consistently perform at the highest levels, topped the exemplary score and same A1-star rating achieved by the project team at Highwood’s 60-bedroom Extra Care facility at Westergate in West Sussex just a few weeks ago.

The Botleigh Grange project comprises a prestigious two-storey care home built by Highwood for Frontier Estates. To be named Snowdrop Place Care Home, it will be operated by Barchester Healthcare for whom this scheme represents an inaugural new-build development. Designed to provide accommodation in excess of current Care Quality Commission (CQC) requirements, the new facility will specialise in 24-hour dementia care. Construction is set to conclude in January 2021 and the first residents will be welcomed soon after.
