Two Highwood projects make the UK’s Top 20 Care Home Awards 2018 list

To top what has already proved to be a hugely successful awards season for the leading south coast property developer, Highwood, two of its premier care projects have been included in the most recommended UK Care Homes awards list by carehome.co.uk. The awards, which highlight the most endorsed care homes in each region of the UK, are based on individual review scores as of 31st January 2018.

Highwood’s Netley Court and Gracewell of Adderbury care home projects both feature in the Top 20 Care Homes South East England 2018 scoring exemplary marks and glowing praise from residents and their families.

‘We’re delighted to have two care home projects recognised on this acclaimed awards list,’ commented Guy Hayward, Managing Director of Highwood. ‘Since we were formed in 1987, we’ve been renowned for the landmark care home and retirement village projects we’ve delivered. Working with specialist care partners, like Cinnamon Care and Gracewell Healthcare, has given us the opportunity to enhance our prestigious care brand and deliver exciting later years schemes that continue to attract discerning residents who can live life to the full in the luxurious environments we’ve created.’

Netley Court is a purpose-built, 65-bedroom care built by Highwood for care partner, Cinnamon Care, on the site of a former school within the Netley Abbey Conservation area in Southampton. With stunning waterside views over Southampton Water, Netley Court’s highly trained and dedicated teams deliver expert care, including specialist dementia support to their residents.

Gracewell of Adderbury is another luxury care home built by Highwood; this time in partnership with Gracewell Healthcare. Set close to Banbury in Oxfordshire and with 60 en-suite bedrooms and a range of superior facilities and services, care staff provide residents with high quality residential, nursing and dementia care.
